ABOUT US
Wee Care Day School has served our local community since August of 1999. Our facility offers full-time care for children six weeks through four years of age. Wee Care also offers a part-time after-school program along with a summer camp experience for children in kindergarten through fifth grade!
Abeka preschool curriculum is a traditional, Christian-based program focused on strong phonics, early literacy, and math foundational skills (numbers 1-100 for K5, 1-20 for 4-year-olds) using a spiral learning approach. It emphasizes teacher-led instruction, character building, and comprehensive subjects including Bible, language development, and arts, tailored for ages 2–5.
Core Components of Abeka Preschool:Phonics & Reading: A systematic, intensive phonics approach starting with letter recognition, sounds, and blending to build early reading skills.Numbers & Math: Focuses on counting, number recognition, concept understanding, and early math (adding, time, money).Bible-Based: Integrates biblical values and stories throughout lessons to teach character development.Language Arts & Skills: Includes language development, oral communication, and fine motor skills development (coloring, tracing, cutting).Subjects: Science (animals, weather), Social Studies (community helpers, history), and Fine Arts (poems, music) are covered.
Wee Care's after-school program and Summer Camp are a whole new world of adventure in themselves! You can expect your child to experience character-building, mild athletics, expression through arts and crafts, and many other stellar activities. There is an enthusiastic and engaging team behind every single move that is made in this program!
